General Goal:

The College's Agency for Applied Programs is concerned with developing educational and training plans and programs, monitoring the progress of the educational process, supervising tasks related to programs in the Applied College, overseeing the implementation of regulations and executive rules related to academic matters.

Responsibilities and Authorities:

  • Coordinate with relevant sectors inside and outside the university on all academic matters of the college and supervise the work of the heads of the units affiliated with the Agency for Applied Programs.
  • Nominate heads of units affiliated with the agency and submit recommendations to the CEO of the college for executive decisions.
  • Recommend the appointment of program supervisors in coordination with the head of the programs unit and submit recommendations to the CEO of the college for executive decisions.
  • Supervise the establishment, design, development, or modification of programs and coordinate between relevant units.
  • Oversee and follow up on admission and registration processes for programs in the college and coordinate with the registration unit within the college and the university's Deanship of Admission and Registration.
  • Supervise the teaching loads of faculty members, approve them, and submit them.
  • Supervise requests and procedures related to faculty members and trainers from inside and outside the college.
  • Approve academic schedules and exam schedules for all programs and coordinate with the head of the programs unit and the registration unit.
  • Supervise academic movements of students (transfers, course equivalencies, study deferrals or withdrawals).
  • Approve exam results in accordance with regulations and rules.
  • Supervise the provision of educational equipment for programs and communicate with relevant authorities.
  • Propose student activities within the college and supervise their implementation.
  • Supervise training programs and professional exams in coordination with the training and professional certification unit.
  • Submit periodic reports to the CEO of the college on the progress of the agency's work.
  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities within the scope of the agency's competence based on the direction of the CEO of the college.​
